Family's anger at 'disappointing' meet-up with Foreign Secretary

THE brother of detained Scot Jagtar Singh Johal has slammed a meeting with the Foreign Secretary as “one of the most disappointing yet”.

Gurpreet Singh Johal met Yvette Cooper yesterday to press the Government on what it will do to bring his brother home after eight years of arbitrary detention in India.

The meeting came days after Jagtar was moved to Tihar jail, one of India’s most dangerous prisons.
