I married for the wrong reasons - now I want out

I'M 35 and got married in 2015 to a very special man.

At 29 he was four years older than I was and had it all - handsome, sporty, doing well at work and really kind. My friends thought I'd won the dating lottery.

But I can see now that I married him for the wrong reasons. I did find him attractive and loved him in my own way, but we had little in common. He's never understood my sense of humour and attitude to life, and I have no interest in his hobbies and passions.

However, when we met, I was a bit directionless and living with my mum, who I don't get along with for various reasons.

I saw him as a way out, I suppose. But for the past 10 years I've avoided having kids with him because, deep down, I know the marriage isn't right.
