Balding Mark says he had to quit work as waiter after clinic left him scarred

A BALDING man says he is unable to work after a botched hair transplant left him scarred.

Mark Sweeney, 57, was assured he would receive a professional treatment at the Merchant City Medical centre in Glasgow.

He chose the clinic after nightmare reports about people having surgery abroad.

But instead of a thick head of hair, he was left with a large scarred area of skin across the top of his forehead.

He claims he had to give up his job as a waiter at the city's Buttery restaurant as he can't face the public and has to sweep his hair forward to cover up the unsightly skin.
