A taste of what's in store for the 'lucky' celebrities.

- TOM BRYANT

IT'S the one thing that always seems to take the stars by surprise when they appear on I'm a Celebrity.

The sheer noise of the jungle, they say, is enough to make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

And it’s true that the hum of insects and birdsong is so loud it almost assaults your eardrums.

But if any of this year's contestants happened to arrive early in camp yesterday, they would have heard a very different cry.

Mainly a muffled one, from me, as I was subjected to a Bushtucker Trial during an exclusive tour of the jungle.

Called the Rotten Ringmaster, it involved your fearless correspondent, a camel's anus, and 60 seconds to eat it.

First the rules.
