Junior won't be over-protective like his old man and try to stop family dynasty

- BY MARTIN DOMIN

FOR Chris Eubank Jr, the sins of the father begin and end with his dad.

Ahead of his rematch with Conor Benn tonight, Eubank Jr revealed he is expecting twin boys next year.

And so the fighting dynasty will continue if not the family feud which stretches back almost four decades.

For a rivalry which began with the fathers in Birmingham and continued in Manchester will be concluded by the sons in London 35 years later.

Benn, who has a son and a daughter, quickly shot down the mere suggestion of a third generation settling their differences in the ring.

And that won't be the only contrast between Eubank Jr and his old man.

He will keep his family's private life hidden from prying eyes, not lay it bare for the world to gawp.

He will expose his sons to his boxing career, not attempt to protect them from the sport's dark side.
