claims the Queens Park Hotel has wrecked life there, with an endless stream of antisocial behaviour over several years.

He said: "We have dearly hoped that this place would be closed down because it really is a hellhole and it's getting worse.

"It simply isn’t appropriate accommodation for people with addiction and the owners have failed to make improvements.

"The hotel is increasing its number of room from 59 to 76 and we are staggered that Glasgow City Council is allowing it.

"We have repeatedly brought to their attention the terrible conditions and the crimes that have occurred right outside our front windows."

The neighbour said the equally sized tenement block directly next door to the hotel houses 12 adults and four children.

He said: "It's wild when you see the plans for inside the hotel.
