KEVIN Keegan has been diagnosed with cancer after being admitted to hospital with abdominal symptoms.
The family of the former Liverpool player, 74, broke the news in a statement shared by Newcastle United, which he also played for and managed.
Heartfelt messages of support flooded in for the football legend.
Liverpool FC said: "The thoughts and support of everyone at Liverpool FC are with Kevin Keegan after he was diagnosed with cancer."
