Imrie and wife pay tribute to staff

FOOTBALL boss Dougie Imrie has paid tribute to NHS staff after raising £18,000 in memory of his baby daughter.

Morton gaffer Dougie and his partner Lauren McCreadie were shattered to lose baby Remi in August. She was born 14 weeks early, weighing just over 1lb 4oz.

The tot was cared for by staff at the neonatal team at University Hospital Wishaw in Lanarkshire.

The couple returned to the unit to hand over a cheque to the team who supported them.
