Covid families' fury amid claim Medpro 'paid no corporation tax'

THE controversial PPE firm linked to Baroness Michelle Mone went into administration owing £39million to the taxman, it can be revealed.

This is on top of the £148million that PPE Medpro owes the Department of Health and Social Care after losing a High Court lawsuit over useless Covid gowns.

As we revealed in September, the firm was put into administration on the eve of the damning court judgment.

According to a statement of affairs, PPE Medpro has just £951,134 left in assets.

Mone initially claimed she had no link to PPE Medpro, but then admitted to out sister paper the Mirror in 2023 that she had lied.

She and her husband Doug Barrowman, who live in the tax haven of the Isle of Man, reportedly benefitted from £65million in profits from the company.
