Polish PM warns as tensions soar after drones incursion by Russia
POLAND is at its closest to open conflict than at any time since World War II after Russia launched deadly drones against it.
Polish PM Donald Tusk spoke out after Dutch F-35 fighter bombers were scrambled from Nato bases to assist Poland in defending against the raid.
A total of four unmanned craft were shot down overnight into yesterday, with at least 19 airspace violations.
Tusk said: "I have no reason to claim we're on the brink of war but it's incomparably more dangerous than before.
