HIGH street giant John Lewis says it's feeling confident about Christmas despite ongoing pressure on pockets.
The department store and Waitrose owner delivered an upbeat tone as it released half-year results yesterday.
Chairman Jason Tarry said: “There is no doubt consumer confidence is subdued but if we do the right things for customers, things they want to see, improving the proposition, we think we can continue our progress into the second half.”
