Scot apologises after meltdown leaves him dripping in blood and in need of hospital trip

DEVASTATED Cameron Menzies last night apologised after his astonishing and bloody Ally Pally outburst left him needing hospital treatment.

The Scot faces a massive fine after losing the rag and repeatedly punching a table on stage at the end of a bitter defeat to Charlie Manby.

Menzies erupted in the seconds after losing to the English youngster.

The 36-year-old snapped when Manby hit the winning dart and began punching his onstage table which left him with blood on his hand and needing first-aid treatment after he walked off the stage in distress and distraught.

The crowd booed him for his actions, which may also see him hit with a possible ban as he is set to face heavy punishment from darts chiefs for the outburst that stunned the 3500 crowd.

Menzies was clearly upset in the aftermath and quickly moved to say sorry for his behaviour.
