Bosses say exit leaves our game worse off

STEPHEN ROBINSON insists the departure of Brendan Rodgers is a loss to the Scottish game - and his rival bosses.

The St Mirren manager insisted he's not the only gaffer to get the benefit of Rodgers' wisdom over the years and struggled to believe his fellow Northern Irishman had left Celtic.

Robbo said: "It certainly was a shock - I thought it was fake news, to be honest.

"I don't know the ins and outs of Celtic or what's happening with Brendan.

"But I think it's a big loss for Scottish football.
