Del's hoping Marbella training camp sharpens up troops
DEREK McINNES reckons Kilmarnock are refreshed and ready to ramp up their Euro prep in Spain.
The Rugby Park outfit are getting some overseas training in Marbella and the boss feels it’s a key part of the countdown to their continental return.
Ki l l ie go straight into competitive action with a Europa League qualifier against Cercle Brugge in a month’s time.
McInnes began work on home soil last week but believes heading to sunny Spain will really get things moving.
He said: “We’ve had an intro at Largs and a few days’ work before Spain. We know the complex and it offers good facilities for us.
“It lets the players get away and get double sessions into them before we finish off with a game on Saturday.
“The boys will play 45 minutes and then we’ll arrive back next week and play a couple of closed-door games.
