IBROX LEGEND WRITES EXCLUSIVELY FOR YOU EVERY WEEK

certainly did that for us during that time. Unfortunately, we just couldn't find the consistency we needed.

When we had big wins and performances, we would take a step back the next week.

Yes, it was frustrating but we also realised there were some confidence issues which needed to be resolved because of everything the lads had just come through.

Which brings us back to the scenes at Pittodrie the other evening when they notched up a fifth straight win together.

I loved to see it. That unity and togetherness. That sheer enjoyment of everything that comes with being a winning Rangers player, week after week, game after game.

That's what these guys have missed out on for too long. That's what the supporters have been crying out for.

A Rangers team they can trust to turn up and go into battle on their behalf, even when the conditions are so bad that the corner flags are bent over double.

Even in a hostile, toxic environment like it always is at Aberdeen.
