Franco hails Weir ahead of final game and it may be goodbye for Adam too

FRANCO SMITH hailed departing Warrior legend Duncan Weir - and all but confirmed that Adam Hastings will be leaving Scotstoun too.

Weir will call time on his playing career when he makes his 163th appearance off the bench against Zebre tonight.

The former Scotland fly-half is hanging up his boots to take on a coaching role in the academy.

And he's guaranteed a warm welcome at chilly Scotstoun as the only playing member of the club's 2015 and 2024 title wins.

Head coach Smith said: "This will be a special night for Duncan.

"His contribution to this club over so many years cannot be overstated - not just in terms of points and performances but in the standards he sets and the influence he has had on players and staff alike. Duncan embodies what it means to be a Glasgow Warrior.
