A mother's cries as daughter led away handcuffed by cops

THE mother of Letby wailed in pain as her daughter was arrested.

Susan's cries are heard for the first time in a Netflix documentary out today, which was granted access to footage from Cheshire Constabulary.

As police officers enter Letby’s parents’ home in Hereford, her mum is also heard to cry “oh no” and “please no, not again no!”

The police then go upstairs and arrest Letby while she is still in bed.

This footage is understood to be the second time Letby was arrested at her parents’ home, in June 2019.

As police enter her bedroom, she sits looking stunned. A policeman tells her: “I'm arresting you on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. You don't have to say anything, but it may harm your defence if you don’t mention when questioned something which you later rely on. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.”
