Yellow alert for heavy rain continues

THE Met Office yesterday issued an updated weather alert to include parts of North Wales.
-
The yellow alert for rain came into effect at 5am yesterday and will now finish at 9pm today.
The area of the weather alert has been pushed further north and now includes parts of Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire.
People were warned to expect spray on the roads and potential travel disruption, with possible flooding and power cuts.
More than 50mm (two inches) of rain has been forecast for some areas on higher ground.
