'Wrecked' 5-bed family home was £250k drug grow

THESE pictures show how criminals turned a respectable, five-bedroomed house in North Wales into a cannabis factory.

As reported in Friday’s Post, officers executed a search warrant at the property in Pantasaph in Flintshire and found two men, drugs paraphernalia and cannabis worth up to £250,000.

Images now released by the Crown Prosecution Service reveal how the electricity supply had been bypassed. There were also pots, jars and racks of weed in several rooms. One man had been left instructions to water the illicit crops, but part of the first floor was so damp that crime scene investigators judged it unsafe to enter until it was made safer.
