Warning of weather blip amid sunshine

THE UK is enjoying another spell of sunshine with this weekend forecast to be ideal for outdoor activities.

However forecasters are warning of a “blip” in Wales and southwest England that could mar an otherwise serene weather outlook.
A high-pressure system has brought dry, settled conditions to the UK with temperatures set to climb into the high teens and low 20s in many parts of Wales over the weekend. It follows a tourism-friendly April - the month was the sunniest on record in England and the second sunniest in Wales since records began in 1910.
