Wales ended their dismal 18-match losing streak against Japan during the summer, but there is still a long way to go.

New man Tandy has the responsibility of leading the national team into a new era, with the World Cup just under two years away.

Joining him in this quest for rejuvenation is a collective of very familiar faces.

Here we take a look at the new coaching group.

Ex-Scotland defence coach Tandy will lead Wales into the new era and it will be his first job as head coach of an international team.

After the difference he made following Warren Gatland’s departure during the Six Nations, ex-Cardiff Rugby head honcho Matt Sherratt has been rewarded with the attack coach role.

Another familiar face joining up with the nation is ex-Harlequins head coach Danny Wilson, who has previously worked in Welsh regional rugby.

Wilson links up with Wales as assistant coach.
