MAE Llywodraeth Cymru yn cynghori’r cyhoedd cyn prawf rhybuddion argyfwng cenedlaethol ar 7 Medi, gyda chanllawiau penodol i'r rhai a allai fod yn cadw ffon symudol cudd am resymau diogelwch.

Ar y dyddiad hwnnw, bydd prawf rhybuddion argyfwng yn cael ei anfon at bob ffôn symudol ledled y DU. Bydd yr hybudd yn cynhyrchu sain uchel a dirgryniad ar bob dyfais gydnaws, hyd yn oed os ydynt wedi’u gosod i fod yn dawel, oni bai bod rhybuddion argyfwng wedi’u diffodd ymlaen llaw.
Gall hyn gyflwyno risg diogelwch i unigolion sy'n profi cam-drin domestig sy'n cadw ffôn cudd ar gyfer ei defnyddio mewn argyfwng. Os yw dyfais o'r fath yn gwneud sŵn yn annisgwyl, gallai ddatgelu ei phresenoldeb.
