Stairway to 'heaven'

BEACH COVE THAT IS A GENUINE HIDDEN GEM

THERE are very few genuine 'hidden gems' in the modern age where social media will quickly share once quiet secret spots.

But one cove location on Anglesey remains relatively undiscovered and access issues means it will never attract hordes.

Hen Borth, near South Stack, (not to be confused with another Hen Borth beach close to Cemlyn) has always been something of a local secret.

It has always been tricky to access but this was even more challenging when the old wooden stairs/ladder down to the cove fell into disrepair.

But these have been replaced with a new metal staircase that has opened the site up again although that's not to say it's easy.
