SIREN sounds have blared from mobile phones across theUK in a test of the national emergency alert system.
-
At around 3pm yesterday, mobiles connected to 4G and 5G networks vibrated and sounded for about 10 seconds in the second test of the system - after the first in 2023.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said tens of millions of phones successfully sounded during the test.
