Schools give warning after children unknowingly added to chat group

SCHOOLS across Wales have issued urgent warnings to parents and carers after reports emerged of children being added to a WhatsApp group without their knowledge or consent.
-
The group, called Add till 500, has been linked to the sharing of inappropriate content and the solicitation of personal information from young users including their date of birth.
Incidents have been reported in Bridgend and Swansea prompting concerns from local authorities and education staff.
