Sarofim joins ownership group at Blues

ANOTHER new face has joined the ownership group of Everton as the Friedkin Group added the experience of Christopher Sarofim to Roundhouse Capital Holdings Limited.

Sarofim, who serves as chairman of the global investment manager Fayez Sarofim & Co., joins the board of Roundhouse as a board observer, meaning he won't have any voting rights but will be on hand for the club and its owners to tap into his almost 40 years' worth of experience in investment, fund management and philanthropy.

The aim of the move is to help Everton continue to strengthen its financial base and build for the future, with the club seeking to get to a point where they can sustainably invest in an impactful way to achieve competitive success while growing the revenue streams of the business.
