LIVERPOOL are bracing themselves for a fresh approach from Bayern Munich for Luis Diaz with the Bundesliga side ready to test the Reds’ resolve over the Colombia winger.

Bayern remain keen on Diaz despite having seen an opening proposal worth €67.5million (£58.6m) immediately rejected last week.

Liverpool dismissed an approach from Barcelona earlier this summer and are insistent Diaz is still viewed as an important player in Arne Slot’s squad having played a key role in last season’s Premier League title triumph.
