POLICE raided an address in the Conwy Valley following reports that weight-loss drugs were being sold without a licence.

The haul included 48 capsules of Mounjaro with a street value of more than £5,000.

Yesterday morning's operation in the Llanrwst area followed tip-offs from members of the public. Also discovered were syringes and other medical equipment.

In the UK, Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medicine.

It can only be obtained legally with a prescription from a registered healthcare professional.
