Matchwinner is coy on future as he savours goal

TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD was coy on his Liverpool future after his match-winning intervention off the substitutes' bench earned a 1-0 win over Leicester City.

The right-back marked his first appearance since March 11 with a goal inside five minutes of his arrival at the King Power and he celebrated wildly in front of the away end, earning a booking for removing his shirt.

The England international is out of contract in the summer and is the subject of strong interest from Real Madrid.

Alexander-Arnold, though, refused to offer any further insight into what the future holds but praised the Liverpool fans who made the journey to Leicester.

"I have had a few good moments in this stadium, scored a few goals and especially when we are so close to winning the title," Alexander-Arnold said.
