WHEN it comes to naming your favourite chippy in North Wales, the Master Fryer always seems to get a mention. Located in Deeside, the Master Fryer has been serving the community of Queensferry for generations.

The chip shop is located on a busy road, not too far from the giant Asda supermarket. There is limited street parking outside so that you can nip in and grab your fish supper.

You can either order online or just turn up and place your order.

The decor is typical chip shop fare with the menu overhead and all kinds of assorted battered things on the glass fronted warming trays.

People who like their things served in batter have plenty of choice here with chip shop essentials like battered sausage on the menu They serve all the usual chippy favourites such as cod, haddock, fish cake, scampi and potato scallops.

Burger barmy folk will have a right party with a choice of over nine different burgers. Homemade fish savoury, spam fritters, beef burger fritters or even an exotic pineapple fritter are also included on the list of options.

Kebabs and gyro have their own section with things like chicken kebab naan, mixed kebab pitta or the ominous sounding doner tray of meat.

There were also a variety of different dinners, such as chicken dinner, steak pie dinner, or chili con carne dinner, which involve a meal with any two sauces poured over the top.
