Manon's Riverside Café
Daily Post
|August 23, 2025
MANON'S Riverside Cafe is located at the National White-Water Centre and is located right next to the River Tryweryn in Frongoch near Bala.
Therefore, it is the ideal spot for thrill-seekers or timid spectators, to soak up the wild water atmosphere, whilst enjoying a drink and a bite to eat.
The fast-flowing white water is popular with canoeists and rafters, visiting for an adrenaline-fuelled adventure on the raging rapids. Manon's Riverside Cafe offers a bit of respite from the frenzy, in a spectacular riverside setting.
There is plenty of outdoor seating around the cafe, so you can watch the white-knuckle action from the comfort of a picnic bench, whilst happily eating a belly-busting bap in blissful relaxation. Inside, the venue has a certain wooden shack charm with cakes galore by the ordering hatch.
Whilst there are gallons of fun to be had on the river, the cafe offers a more relaxed affair with a menu consisting of various breakfast options and a variety of baps. Lunch options include soups, burgers, jacket potatoes and chilli.
