LOCALS FUME AS DOG POO BAGS DUMPED AROUND BEAUTY SPOT AND BEACH

But Llanbedrog on the Llyn Peninsula is being plagued by thoughtless visitors dumping filled dog poo bags and other rubbish around the village and even on the beach.

One issue is that bins are sometimes left overflowing, but people claim this isn’t an excuse, saying many are simply too lazy or disrespectful to bother even trying to find one.

Dog poo bags have been dropped on the beach, on paths and even outside a seafront cafe.

It was a picture of a recent example of this outside the Aqua cafe that triggered a flurry of complaints about the behaviour of a minority of visitors.

This was taken by Mererid Wyn, who had also taken numerous other recent pictures to highlight the problem.

She said: "It’s the same every year during the busy season - people dumping their rubbish/poo bags at the entrance of the cafe or leaving it beside the bin.
