Six months ago, I launched Network North Wales. An ambitious vision to deliver a high-frequency public transport network for North Wales, with Metro at its heart.

I pledged to start immediately and that is what we have done.

Now as we near the end of the year we can see that the Network North Wales vision is becoming a reality, with more developments to come over the next few months.

I've just had the opportunity to travel on a newly wrapped train on the Wrexham - Liverpool line which illustrates the places on the journey.
