Judge has misgivings but spares dealer jail

A street dealer caught with drugs in Flintshire two years ago has been spared jail. Eddie Duffy admitted four drugs- related offences.

Police had stopped the 24-year-old in Connah's Quay in October 2023 and found he had ketamine, cannabis and £400 in cash, Mold Crown Court heard yesterday.
Officers then searched his home and discovered 38 grams of ketamine.
On his mobile phone police also unearthed messages showing he had been drug dealing over a short period of time.
He was arrested and interviewed and then released under investigation.
