Gang followed men out of Welsh pub before launching 'disgusting' attack

A GANG followed three men out of a pub car park before launching a “disgusting” attack. Two of the perpetrators have now been jailed following the mass brawl outside the Angel in Welshpool.
A court heard that on Sunday, July 13, Troy Cummings, 21, his brother Kaden Manuel, 18, and their friends Ryan Jones, 21, and Jack Dixon, 19, followed three men before beating them to the ground and pummelling them as they lay on the floor.
At the time of the incident Cummings, the oldest of the four, had been under investigation by police for assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm of two much older men, for which he was charged before being charged alongside his three co-defendants for affray outside the Angel pub.
During the investigation into the four men following the brawl outside the Angel, police officers found a large volume of cocaine and cannabis in Dixon's home with a cash value of £900, as well as weighing scales, so he was also charged with possession of class A and class B drugs with intent to supply.
Amy Edwards, prosecuting, told Mold Crown Court that the affray charges related to the brawl which took place at 3am in the early hours of Sunday, July 13, in Welshpool town centre.
The incident, which was captured on CCTV, showed the four standing and waiting outside the pub before following three men who had left after them.
As the three men crossed the road the four followed them before Cummings grabbed one from behind and threw them to the floor. The man got back to his feet and swung a punch at Cummings which was followed by the other defendants getting involved.
At one point, as one of them lay on the ground, Manuel kicked the man to the head. When one of the victims tried to help the man up from the floor they were also attacked.
