'Creepy' statues spark 'alien landing' theory

IF the purpose of art is to spark debate then these mysterious statues certainly succeeded - although they left a few questioning their own sanity.
On Saturday a collection of figures suddenly appeared in a field in Brymbo, Wrexham.
Around 15 life-sized casts were placed near the old Brymbo Steelworks site. With no warning they were coming or explanation of why they were there, it left locals wondering what was going on.
Some speculated that “aliens had landed” or that it was the “Walking Dead” while others thought their eyesight was playing up.
And then just like that, they were gone. It meant those who hadn't seen questioning the mental state of those who had.
