ED SHEERAN'S CHEEKY MESSAGE TO REYNOLDS AS SINGER'S BELOVED IPSWICH TO CLASH WITH WREXHAM IN CHAMPIONSHIP NEXT SEASON

RYAN Reynolds has been sent an X-rated warning following Wrexham's promotion to the Championship.

Phil Parkinson's side celebrated reaching the second tier on Saturday after just one season in League One.

The Red Dragons have enjoyed a rapid rise up the divisions since being bought by Reynolds and fellow Hollywood star Rob McElhenney in February 2021. The current campaign saw them come up against a big rival in Birmingham City, who are part-owned by American Football legend Tom Brady.

While the Blues ultimately came out on top as champions, Wrexham's second-place finish means both teams will be playing in the same league next season. Having gone head-to-head with Brady, the Hollywood duo will now face another celebrity investor in the Championship in the form of Ed Sheeran, who owns a minority stake in Ipswich Town.
