A climber suffered serious injuries in a fall, after a rock gave way on an Eryri mountain.

The woman had to be airlifted to hospital by a Coastguard rescue helicopter, following the incident at Cwm Silyn, on Sunday, August 17. Mountain rescuers were called to the scene.
An Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team statement said: “The team deployed to assist a fallen female climber at Cwm Silyn.
