Arrests as car was 'driven into man'

THREE arrests have been made after a car was “driven into a man” on a Gwynedd high street following a fight between two groups of men.

Following an “altercation” on Bethesda High Street a car was driven into a person walking on a pavement on Monday afternoon.

A man was taken to hospital but has since been released, as police appeal for witnesses and urge people not to share “distressing footage” of the incident which has been circulating online.

A North Wales Police statement yesterday said: “Three people have been arrested following an incident in Bethesda yesterday afternoon.
