INAUGURAL RECOGNITION SPORTS AWARDS
THE eThekwini Municipality, in partnership with the eThekwini Sport Confederation, hosted the inaugural eThekwini Recognition Sports Awards at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre last night, in a celebration of local sporting excellence.
The event honoured the achievements of athletes, coaches, administrators, technical officials, volunteers, and sporting organisations whose contributions continue to grow and strengthen sport across the municipality.
The awards were given in recognitions of individuals and groups whose dedication and excellence have enriched the development of sport at both grassroots and elite levels. In addition, the ceremony highlighted community-nominated sporting heroes who have made a lasting impact within their respective codes.
