Windsor Castle intruder

A MAN is said to have climbed over a wall into the grounds of Windsor Castle, sparking a security scare.

It is believed that the Prince and Princess of Wales were at their Adelaide Cottage home on the Windsor estate at the time with children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The intruder was quickly detained by officers from the Metropolitan Police on Sunday, just after 1pm.

The man, in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of trespass and possession of a Class A drug before being handed over to the Thames Valley local police.
