We'll seize even more land, Putin threatens

VLADIMIR Putin has warned Russia will seek to extend its gains in Ukraine if Kyiv and its allies reject demands the Kremlin has made in peace talks.

At a meeting with his military's top brass, the Russian president said: "If the opposing side and its foreign patrons refuse to engage in substantive dialogue, Russia will achieve liberation of its historical lands by military means."
