Community unites after baby boy killed by family's pet dog

NEIGHBOURS in the community where a baby was mauled to death by a dog say they are grieving with the devastated parents.

The nine-month-old boy was savaged by the family's pet on Sunday.

Rose Baxter-Jones, who lives near the scene of the tragedy in Rogiet, Monmouthshire, south east Wales, said: "We're a really tiny village and a really tight-knit community.
