Instructor's ditch crash while four times over limit

A DRINK-driving instructor was caught on camera after crashing his L-test car into a ditch on the way to his first lesson of the day.

Police found Timothy Howells, 54, was four times the limit in his Red Driving School VW Polo.

Passing motorists filmed him as he sheepishly peered out of the open driver's side window.

One shouts to him: "Plenty to drink last night or what? You can't park there mate."
