Tess: I've got Bruce to thank for career

TESS Daly says telly legend Sir Bruce Forsyth really helped to get her Strictly career off the ground.

She said: "Bruce looked after me... he was so generous. I was no one when I started. He was a TV legend.

"Just meeting him was like being in the presence of greatness. He was very kind and embraced me and shared his Digestive biscuits with me when I knocked on his door.

"He used to tease me about stealing his Mars bars.

"I never saw him complain once.
