Action film star Wahlberg tells Pacific boat brothers: I want to play you in a movie

THE story of three brothers who rowed unsupported across the South Pacific in record time is the stuff of movies, according to Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg.

Ewan, Jamie and Lachlan Maclean overcame extreme winds, lack of food, huge waves and constant danger to complete their quest in a record 139 days, five hours and 52 minutes.

After they returned to dry land in Australia bare chested, and with shaggy hair and beards they enjoyed a hard-earned beer and pizza with 50 friends and family.
