ELLIOT MINCHELLA has thrown down the gauntlet to the NRL heavyweights - insisting Hull KR are ready to fly the flag for Super League and shock the mighty Brisbane Broncos on the world stage.

- BY JOSH MCALLISTER

The Robins skipper will lead his history-makers into tomorrow night's blockbuster World Club Challenge showdown at the MKM Stadium with global bragging rights on the line.

Rovers stormed to a record-breaking 2025 campaign - sweeping up every major trophy - and now they're chasing a fourth crown to cement their place in rugby league folklore.

Standing in their way are NRL giants Brisbane Broncos, hunting a third world title and their first since 1997.

But Minchella isn’t feeling the pressure.

He said: “We are representing the Super League competition. It’s not a weight on our shoulders, we're embracing it.

“It comes with having success last year. It’s about focusing on your job and controlling what you can control.
