SARAH Ferguson has been spotted in public for the first time this year - as sources say she fears returning to the UK and feels abandoned by the Royal Family.

- EXCLUSIVE BY RUSSELL MYERS Royal Editor and JENNIFER NEWTON Deputy Royal Editor

The former Duchess of York, stripped of her title due to her links to Jeffrey Epstein, has been tracked down to a reported £2,000-a-night ski chalet in Austria as she attempted to move around an alpine village incognito.

She had not been seen in public since the christening of her granddaughter Athena at London's St James's Palace on December 12. Mystery had surrounded her whereabouts since she was named in the Epstein files.
