Kate debuts new lighter hair as she joins pupils on soggy museum trip

Beaming Kate, stepping out with her new lighter hair, helped shield a group of pupils from a heavy downpour.
The wet weather came while she and husband Prince William visited the Natural History Museum yesterday on their first royal engagement since their summer break. The couple were due to take part in pond dipping with the pupils, searching for toads and newts in the Nature Discovery Garden.
But seconds after the primary school children arrived, the heavens opened.
