Thousands of extra dentist appointments as 'absurd' rule axed
THOUSANDS of patients will now get better access to dentist appointments after a rule change.
Some 900,000 urgent appointments have not been taken up due to strict rules around what “urgent” means.
Ministers last night criticised the “absurd” situation, where people with rotting teeth or infections are unable to access the care they need.
